Charging cables and stations
The Audi e-tron S Sportback 55 quattro uses a Type 2 (Mennekes) cable and supports three-phase charging up to 11 kW. Cables rated for 11 kW or 22 kW can be used, but charging will be limited to the vehicle’s maximum of 11 kW.
Compatible charging stations include:
– 3.7 kW (1 phase, 16A)
– 7.4 kW (1 phase, 32A)
– 11 kW (3 phase, 16A)
– 22 kW (3 phase, 32A) – charges at a maximum of 11 kW
Compatibility with the electrical panel
The optimal charging speed depends on the electrical installation. With a single-phase supply, the maximum power will be 3.7 kW. If you have a three-phase installation (3x16A or higher), the car will be able to charge at its maximum power of 11 kW.
Mobile Charging Device
Mobile chargers are convenient for home use via a standard socket (220V). The Audi e-tron S Sportback 55 quattro requires a mobile cable with a Type 2 plug. Due to the battery capacity of 86.5 kWh, it is recommended to use a mobile charger mainly as a backup option or in emergency situations.
