Charging Options and Approximate Times
The Audi e-tron GT RS supports charging up to 11 kW through a three-phase connection. Lower power chargers and mobile charging devices are also possible. Below are the different options and approximate charging times:
| Charger Type | Power Supply | Max. Power | Charging Time |
| Mobile Charger (2.3 kW) | 230V / 1x10A | 2.3 kW | approx. 43 h 30 min |
| Single-phase 16A (3.7 kW) | 230V / 1x16A | 3.7 kW | approx. 27 h 15 min |
| Single-phase 25A (5.8 kW) | 230V / 1x25A | 5.8 kW | approx. 17 h 15 min |
| Single-phase 32A (7.4 kW) | 230V / 1x32A | 7.4 kW | approx. 13 h 30 min |
| Three-phase 16A (11 kW) | 400V / 3x16A | 11 kW | approx. 9 h 15 min |
| Three-phase 25A (17 kW) | 400V / 3x16A | 11 kW* | approx. 9 h 15 min |
| Three-phase 32A (22 kW) | 400V / 3x16A | 11 kW* | approx. 9 h 15 min |

Choosing a Charging Station
The maximum charging power for the Audi e-tron GT RS is 11 kW, which is only possible with a three-phase connection. You can use a lower-power charger if your electrical installation doesn’t support higher loads. Even if you choose a higher-power charger (e.g., 22 kW), the car will only charge at a maximum of 11 kW. If you have a single-phase outlet, you’ll only be able to charge at up to 3.7 kW.
Electrical Installation Considerations
Choosing a suitable charging station also depends on your electrical panel. If you have a three-phase connection, you can use the charger’s full capacity. Without one, you can temporarily connect a 3-phase station to 1 phase and upgrade to full charging capability in the future without additional costs.
Mobile Charging Devices
Mobile charging devices are a practical solution when a fixed station isn’t available, but with a large battery capacity like the GT RS (85 kWh), they’re mainly suitable as a backup option. Charging through a standard outlet at 2.3 kW can take over 40 hours.
