Choosing a Charging Station
The maximum AC charging power for the Audi Q4 e-tron 35 is 7.4 kW (single-phase). You can also use chargers with lower power if your electrical installation doesn’t allow for higher loads. With three-phase charging stations, the vehicle will charge up to 7.4 kW, provided the power on a single phase allows it. Therefore, chargers with dynamic or manual load balancing are recommended.
Electrical Installation Considerations
If you have a single-phase connection, make sure it can handle a 7.4 kW load. In case of a three-phase installation, you need to verify if the full power can be used on a single phase. Otherwise, maximum charging speed may not be achieved.
Mobile Charging Devices
Mobile charging devices (portable) are convenient for charging through a standard home outlet. For the Audi Q4 e-tron 35, with its 51.5 kWh battery, they are more suitable as a backup or emergency solution. It’s recommended to use a mobile charger with at least 3.7 kW power when possible.
