Choosing a Charging Station
The maximum AC charging power for the Audi Q4 e-tron 45 quattro is 11 kW. Chargers with higher power won’t charge faster but can be used safely. If your electrical installation doesn’t support three-phase power, charging will be limited to a maximum of 3.7 kW.
Electrical Installation Considerations
To fully utilize the 11 kW capacity, a three-phase installation with at least 3 x 16A is required. If you currently only have a single-phase connection, the charging station can be temporarily connected to one phase at lower power.
Mobile Charging Devices
Mobile charging devices are convenient for emergencies or home charging without an installed station. Charging at 2.3 or 3.7 kW is possible but will take over 24-39 hours, which is why they are recommended as a backup option.
