Wall-mounted Charging Stations (Wallbox)
The BMW i4 eDrive35 supports a maximum power of 11 kW when charging with AC current. This means that even if you purchase a charging station with higher power (e.g., 22 kW), it will charge the vehicle up to a maximum of 11 kW. It is recommended to use a three-phase 11 kW (3x16A) station for optimal charging speed.
Mobile Charging Stations
Mobile charging devices are suitable for home use or while traveling. Although they charge significantly slower (2.3 or 3.7 kW), they are a practical backup solution. Always use a Type 2 compatible mobile charging device.
