Charging Cable for Hyundai INSTER Standard Range
The car uses a Type 2 (Mennekes) connector and supports three-phase charging up to 11 kW. To achieve maximum charging speed, a three-phase cable rated for at least 11 kW or 22 kW is required.
Wallbox Stations for Hyundai INSTER Standard Range
The maximum charging power of the Hyundai INSTER Standard Range is 11 kW. Suitable wallbox stations:
- 3.7 kW (1 phase, 16A) – charges at 3.7 kW
- 7.4 kW (1 phase, 32A) – charges at 3.7 kW
- 11 kW (3 phases, 16A) – charges at 11 kW
- 22 kW (3 phases, 32A) – charges at 11 kW
* Charging power is limited by the car and will not exceed 11 kW.
Compatibility with Electrical Installation
The car can charge on 3 phases if you have at least a 3x16A connection. Without it, you can temporarily use 1 phase, but charging will be limited to 3.7 kW regardless of the station. It is recommended to plan a future upgrade to a three-phase installation.
Mobile Charging Station
Mobile wallbox devices are suitable for charging via a standard socket (220V). The Hyundai INSTER Standard Range requires a mobile charging station with a Type 2 plug and a power output of 2.3 or 3.7 kW. Due to the smaller battery, this is a sufficient solution.
