Charging Options and Time
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 Standard Range supports three-phase AC charging up to 11 kW. The table below shows different charging power levels and approximate full charging times:
| Charger Type | Voltage / Amperage | Power | Charging Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile charger (2.3 kW) | 230V / 1x10A | 2.3 kW | 23 h 30 min |
| Single-phase 16A | 230V / 1x16A | 3.7 kW | 14 h 40 min |
| Single-phase 25A | 230V / 1x25A | 5.8 kW | 9 h 20 min |
| Single-phase 32A | 230V / 1x32A | 7.4 kW | 7 h 20 min |
| Three-phase 16A | 400V / 3x16A | 11 kW | 4 h 55 min |
| Three-phase 25A | 400V / 3x25A | 11 kW* | 4 h 55 min |
| Three-phase 32A | 400V / 3x32A | 11 kW* | 4 h 55 min |

Charging Cables
The car uses a Type 2 (Mennekes) plug and supports three-phase charging up to 11 kW. It is recommended to use a cable rated for 11 kW or 22 kW, suitable for three-phase connection.
Wallbox Charging Stations
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 Standard Range can charge at up to 11 kW via an AC wallbox. More powerful stations can also be used, but the car will limit the charging to 11 kW. Possible options:
- 3.7 kW (1 phase, 16A)
- 7.4 kW (1 phase, 32A)
- 11 kW (3 phases, 16A)
- 22 kW (3 phases, 32A – charging limited to 11 kW)
Connection to Electrical Network
To achieve full charging speed, a three-phase supply (3x16A) is required. If you only have a single-phase connection, you can temporarily use a three-phase station connected to one phase. In this case, charging will be limited to 3.7 kW.
Mobile Charging Stations
Mobile chargers are suitable for charging from a standard household socket (220V). Charging is slower but serves as a good backup solution. The most commonly used power levels are 2.3 kW and 3.7 kW.
