Charging cable for Lucid Air Grand Touring
The Lucid Air Grand Touring uses a Mennekes (Type 2) connector and supports three-phase charging with a capacity of up to 22 kW. To take full advantage of the maximum power, a three-phase cable compatible with 22 kW is required.
Wall-mounted Charging Stations (Wallbox)
The Lucid Air Grand Touring supports charging up to 22 kW, making it fully compatible with the most powerful home wallbox stations. If your electrical installation does not support 22 kW, stations with 11 kW or 7.4 kW can be used. It is recommended to use a device with load balancing to avoid overloading.
Electrical Panel Connection
To achieve the maximum charging speed (22 kW), the car requires a 3-phase power supply with 32A. If you don’t currently have such a setup, you can temporarily use a lower-power station and upgrade in the future. Choosing a smart station with dynamic or manual load balancing is highly recommended.
Mobile Charging Devices
Portable chargers (mobile wallbox devices) can be connected to a standard 220V outlet. They provide up to 3.7 kW of power, which is not sufficient for fast charging but is a practical solution in emergency situations or when no other option is available.
