Charging Cable for Lucid Air Pure
The Lucid Air Pure uses a Mennekes (Type 2) connector and supports three-phase charging up to 22 kW. To charge at maximum speed, you need a cable compatible with 22 kW and three-phase connection.
Wall-mounted Charging Stations (Wallbox)
With a maximum charging power of 22 kW and a battery capacity of 88 kWh, the Lucid Air Pure works best with a high-quality charging station. If installing a 22 kW station isn’t possible, lower-powered solutions like 11 or 7.4 kW can be used. It’s recommended to use a wallbox with load balancing (dynamic or manual).
Electrical Panel Connection
For full 22 kW charging, a three-phase installation with 32A is required. If you don’t have this, you can temporarily use a single-phase connection with lower power and consider future upgrades. Chargers with smart load management are highly recommended to avoid grid overload.
Mobile Charging Devices
Mobile charging devices (portable wallboxes) can connect to a standard 220V outlet. They charge at speeds up to 3.7 kW, which isn’t fast but is practical as a backup solution or when access to a charging station is limited.
