Wallbox Stations for the Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S
The maximum AC charging power of the ID.3 Pro S is 11 kW, which makes it compatible with a wide range of wallbox stations. If you choose a higher-power station, the car will limit charging to 11 kW. The choice of wallbox also depends on your electrical installation – whether you have single-phase or three-phase power.
Mobile Charging Stations
Mobile stations are a convenient way to charge at home using a standard socket. The Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S uses a Type 2 plug and can charge at up to 3.7 kW in mobile mode. Due to the large battery capacity, we recommend using a mobile station primarily as a backup option.
Charging Cables for Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S
This model uses a Type 2 (Mennekes) cable, and for optimal charging a 3-phase cable with a capacity of at least 11 kW is required. A 22 kW cable is also compatible, although the vehicle will charge at a maximum of 11 kW.
