Wallbox stations for Volkswagen ID.4 1st
The maximum AC charging power of the ID.4 1st is 11 kW. This means that if you use a more powerful wallbox station (e.g. 22 kW), charging will be limited to 11 kW. The vehicle supports three-phase charging, which is the fastest way to charge at home. Lower-power stations can also be used if your installation does not allow for higher loads.
Mobile Charging Stations
Mobile stations are suitable for charging via a standard household socket and can provide up to 3.7 kW of power. This is a good option for temporary or backup charging, especially on longer trips or in emergency situations.
Charging cables for Volkswagen ID.4 1st
The vehicle uses a Type 2 (Mennekes) cable and supports three-phase charging up to 11 kW. It is recommended to use a cable rated for at least 11 kW, and for additional flexibility, a 22 kW cable is also fully compatible.
